Blue Organizational Solutions has assisted organizations in becoming minority, woman, and veteran-owned certified and recertified. The minority and woman-owned certification enabled a client to qualify for a hauling contract with Republic Services that grossed $5.5 million annually. The veteran certification better positioned a startup to market its patented electronic patient engagement platform to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
We’ve worked directly with the Treasury Department of New Jersey on the minority and woman-owned certification and recertification and with the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) and its Philadelphia affiliate, the Eastern Minority Supplier Development Council (EMSDC), on minority-owned certification, having participated in EMSDC’s annual conference.
But certification is only one aspect of success. Having worked as controller in both companies, Dr. Blue knows just how difficult it can be for minorities of most any ethnicity or class to succeed. Having worked with many other disadvantaged businesses over the years, he knows, first hand, the challenges they face and what it takes to meet these challenges.
