Team and community building is much more than a good time. It’s the culmination and celebration of team efforts ongoing day to day that build vibrant community-based organizations. Said another way, when an effective teambuilding event ends and everyone goes back to work, it’s not a letdown. The spirit of team and community persists. One important insight gained is that only a diverse group, as a whole, can begin to grasp the quantum condition in organizations. To paraphrase the renown physicist Richard Feynman, no one can comprehend this condition alone. Fully grasping this condition takes a diverse and engaged team and community.
