The retelling of myth is a lost art. In the retelling, gifted story tellers would embellish and update living myths based on existing conditions. But once the myths got written down with the advent of writing, the life went out of them.
But don’t despair. The literature on the quantum condition is loaded with living myth. For instance in organizations, not only is a management level missing, but also management positions don’t really exist. Everyone, I mean everyone from the CEO on down, finds themselves entangled in the same unseen superposition of all the positions at the same time.
This reality is absolutely unnerving to someone steeped in a management hierarchy. In fact, employees found truly addressing a problem or associated with the solution risk losing their jobs, as Isabel Menzies Lyth concluded from her study of a teaching hospital in London. To counter this threat to the goals and objectives in organization, it takes an outside intervention by a quantum-informed organizational analyst. Once the intervention takes hold and the analyst leaves, the participating group takes over the process and brings in others to deal with the quantum condition, rather than being threatened by it.
