In the organizational quantum condition, there is no time, which gives a different meaning to “There’s no time like the present.” The quantum mechanics basically land everyone in the present. For one, when it comes to physics, the formulas work equally well going forward, as they do going backward in time.

My favorite example is the White Rabbit in Disney’s Alice in Wonderland. As the rabbit scurries around he says to Alice, “I’m late. I’m late! For a very important date! No time to say, ‘hello, goodbye,’ I’m late, I’m late, I’m late!” Obviously he had the time, since he had made the time to say “hello, goodbye.”

In the present, there is no time just like we find in spacetime with time and space united. As it turns out. there in the present everyone in organizations moves at their own reduced electromagnetic speed. So while the White Rabbit is right about having no time, he and most everyone else don’t realize that they have whatever time they need to complete their work to the highest quality standards. This not only applies to quality in industry, but also to higher retention in education with student teams teaching  and to reduced medical errors in healthcare with patients directly participating in their care.

Rather than running around, like the White Rabbit, employees can experience this freedom to do their work, following an intervention by a competent analyst, informed about the organizational quantum condition. The intervention properly staffs the Midlevel in the management structure, which has the employees in a superposition of the positions at the Midlevel. This superpositions enables organizations to take advantage of the unlimited time available to do top quality work. As A. B. Cummins found, overseeing industries in the Philadelphia Region for the War Department during the Second World War, teams then consistently beat the time standards.

The group superposition cancels out individual misconceptions about the quantum condition, so that a diverse group, as a whole, grasps the enormity of this condition, while an individual cannot. This consolidated group view includes a realization about the unlimited time available in the present in sharp contrast with the individual perspective of the White Rabbit running around, all stressed out, and out of time.

Not only does this superposition at the Midlevel stabilize the rest of the positions in the management structure,  the intervention assures that work teams not just meet, but beat, the allotted times. Such high quality work with time to spare provides an organization with an unmistakable competitive advantage. Inevitably as the Midlevel become properly staffed across organizations, it becomes a competitive necessity or, as some people prefer to call it, a disruptive technology necessitating a fundamental shift in how enterprises operate.
