I realize that the diagram is a bit confusing. But hang in there as I briefly explain. In 2023 researchers at the Imperial College London proved that photons of light go back and forth across time in waves. That in itself is surprising enough but, as shown in the previous Blog titled “Stability→Profit & Spare Time, What a Bohr?” authority and responsibility in organizations are types of photons. That means that photons of authority and responsibility cut across time in transitions across management levels. Yes, believe it or not, authority and responsibility cut across time.
What the researchers did was to set up what is called a double-slit experiment at two different points in time (time₁ and time₂). As shown in the diagram (1) a blue wave (representing authority) from the past at time₁ crossed ahead into the future at time₂ and (2) a red wave (representing responsibility) from the future at time₂ crossed back into the past at time₁.
